Suitable Data Loggers...
True to their name, the versatile ruggedPlus Series data loggers feature a robust and IP65 protected housing which makes them ideally suited for field work.
Equipped with either one or two external inputs, models DK311, DK312, DK390 and DK391 are compatible with additional sensors. As the ECH2O-10HS uses only one digital channel both for temperature and soil moisture you can connect up to two of these sensors to a single ruggedPlus data logger – or you can add a sensor for other parameters relevant to your application, such as amount of rainfall, humidity, solar radiation or others.

DK650 ruggedVisual data loggers offer a similar range of functions like their little brothers from the ruggedPlus Series. They, too, are designed for outdoor use but in addition they provide an LCD for spot-checking live readings.
Models with the -3S option offer ports for three external sensors allowing for a variety of measured parameters – or the use of up to three combined soil moisture and temperature probes with a single data logger.

Sometimes, it’s just not enough to be able to connect only 2 or 3 probes to a single data logger. If you would like to use up to 16 probes with one logger at the same time, the DCXP is the right model for you. Another huge benefit of your DCXP data logger series is the optional GPRS module which makes remote uploads of measurement data possible. A big plus especially in agriculture or with unattended experiments.
