Monitoring Water Activity
For measuring and logging the aw value, we offer three different models, their performance spectrum covering many applications.
Use DK-aw-meters for measuring equilibrium moisture content of granulates and pasty products. The meter series finds diverse areas of use for efficient determination of the equilibrium moisture especially in the food and pharmaceutical industries.
The DK-aw-1X00 is a modern water activity meter with data logging feature. Measuring head and display are combined into one unit, making the device compact and space-saving.
A small sample volume and the miniaturised fan integrated into the measuring head provide a good mix of the air above the sample and thus an extremely quick response time. (Typically, between 20 and 40 seconds.)
To avoid measuring errors, an additional probe is built-in into the device to make sure the sample temperature matches the temperature of the surrounding air.

The Models
The model DK-aw-1000-3S comes without a sample holder and features three inputs for external probes, making it best suited for areas of application where a sample from bulk material or the like is not possible.
The model DK-aw-1100 has a ventilated sample container with an additional temperature probe for making sure temperature equalization is achieved.
The model DK-aw-1100-1S combines both models since it has the ventilated sample container for bulk material and granulate as well as a port for one external probe which allows measurements on surfaces or hard to reach spots.
